PLAN YOUR JOURNEY
Planning London to Ho Chi Minh City: airport, luggage and onward travel
Use this London to Ho Chi Minh City page to set your arrival priorities, compare departure choices and prepare a clear enquiry. The city planning note and questions below explain the decisions to make before choosing a fare.
For a visit including Hanoi, decide the order of your stops before choosing the UK return. The flight examples above are indicative; your written proposal confirms the actual operating airlines, dates, baggage and total fare.
What should I settle before booking a Ho Chi Minh City itinerary?
Use SGN to identify the Ho Chi Minh City arrival. If Hanoi is also on the itinerary, decide which city comes first and compare the final UK departure without automatically returning to the starting point.
Which London airport should I use for a Ho Chi Minh City flight?
Choose the London airport you can reach reliably before comparing fares to Ho Chi Minh City. Ask the proposal to identify that airport and SGN, including any change between airports. If a different London departure looks cheaper, add your transport, parking or overnight hotel to the total. Your flight home may also land at a different London airport.
How can I book Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in a multi-city trip from London?
Send the order of stops, the nights in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and where the UK return should begin. Mark any ground journey you will arrange yourself. Ask the agent to compare a ticket covering the required flights with any separate-ticket alternative, including baggage and the consequences of a missed connection. A short transit is not the same as a stay.
How do I request extra baggage on a London to Ho Chi Minh City ticket?
For this Ho Chi Minh City request, list each traveller’s checked pieces and weight, plus any pushchair, mobility aid or oversized item. Ask for a bag-inclusive fare and a lower fare with the same bags added in both directions. If you continue to Hanoi, include that segment too. Compare the final payable totals; an allowance stated for only the long-haul flight leaves part of the cost unanswered.
What should families or elderly travellers check before flying to Ho Chi Minh City?
Plan the Ho Chi Minh City arrival around the traveller who needs the most support. Give ages on both travel dates and describe any walking or boarding assistance needed. If Hanoi is another stop, request assistance and seating checks for those flights as well. Compare rest time, connection effort and final collection, not only the airfare.
What do I need before asking for a Ho Chi Minh City flight quote?
Send the London departure date, return or onward dates, passenger ages, bags and any firm Ho Chi Minh City arrival deadline. Mention the Hanoi visit if it belongs to this trip. We can then compare suitable options and explain the fare conditions. The form sends a request; it neither reserves a seat nor confirms a displayed example price.
